Archive
The Archive is the long-term home for everything you've set aside. Archiving a card or task tucks it out of your active views without deleting it — it stays fully searchable, and you can restore it anytime. The Archive is one of the four STAR areas (the A); see STAR Features for how it fits with the rest of the app.
Open it from Starbase or from your account settings. There are two archives — one for cards, one for tasks.
Card Archive
The card archive lists every card you've archived. From here you can:
- Search by title.

- Sort by date, newest or oldest first.
- Restore one or more cards back to your active Cards view.
A few cards can't be archived: your Daily Cards and the auto-generated StarStat cards stay put, so your journal and your stats history remain complete.
Task Archive
The task archive holds tasks you've archived off the board. From here you can:
Archiving vs. deleting
Archiving never destroys anything — it just hides an item from your day-to-day views while keeping it in your history. That's what makes the Archive safe to use liberally: when a deck of old receipts or a finished project's tasks start cluttering your active lists, archive them and your boards stay clean without losing the record.
