Daily Card

The daily card is the heart of StarCards. One is created for you each day. You fill it in. At midnight it locks. That's the ritual.

The daily card is already waiting for you — but you can press n to open the New Card menu, or 1 to create a Daily Card directly (if Daily is your first enabled card type).

What makes it different

• One per day. You don't create a daily card — it's waiting when you open the app.
• Locked at midnight. Daily cards are editable only on the day they were created. This is intentional. The constraint is the feature.
• Auto-added to a Deck. Every daily card is automatically added to your daily Deck, so your full journal is always browsable in one place.

What's on it

The daily card uses the standard five-point star layout. The Related point (Point 3) holds that day's task list — the feature most specific to the daily type.

Collecting a card

When you're done for the day, collect the card. Collecting marks it as complete. Cards that haven't been collected are drafts — they appear differently in your Archive.
