Study Card
A study card turns something you want to learn into a question and its answer, building a reviewable knowledge base over time. The title is the question; the answer lives inside the card. Ask "What causes the northern lights?" and answer "Solar particles striking the upper atmosphere" — then come back and test yourself whenever you like.
How to Create
Press n to open the New Card menu, or the number key matching Study's position in your enabled card types (typically 8).
- Tap New Card from anywhere in the app.
- Choose Study from the card type list.
- Phrase your title as the question you want to be able to answer.
- Fill in the answer, and optionally a hint and notes, in the Study point.
The Study Point
The Related point (Point 3) on a study card has three fields:
- Answer — The answer to the question in the title.
- Hint — An optional nudge to jog your memory before you reveal the answer.
- Notes — Optional extra context, sources, or detail.

Tips
- Write a real question. Phrase the title as something you'd actually ask — a clear question is easier to recall and easier to answer.
- Keep answers concise. A tight answer is easier to review at a glance. Push longer detail into Notes.
- Use the hint to self-test. Read the question, try to recall the answer, peek at the hint if you're stuck, then check yourself.
- Build a subject with Decks. Group related study cards into a Deck (Point 4) to grow a whole subject area in one place.
- Pair with spaced review. Study cards are made to be revisited — a little and often beats cramming.
