Getting Started
When you open Starcards, today's daily card is already waiting for you. You don't create it — it's there. Your job is to fill it in.
Step 1: Name your card (Point 1 — Card Name)
Every daily card gets a title. This is your headline for the day — what you're calling it when you look back. Keep it short.
Add a description if you want more context: a sentence or two about what this day is about or what you're focused on.
Step 2: Add a task (Point 4 — Dynamic Point)
The fourth star point on a daily card is your task list for the day. Add at least one task. Give it a title and optionally a priority (Low, Medium, High, Urgent).
Tasks have three states:
- Do — not started
- Doing — in progress
- Did — done
Move tasks between states as the day progresses.
Optional: Points 2, 3, and 5
The other three star points are optional on your first card:
- Point 2 (Associate) — Attach files or links if you have something to reference.
- Point 3 (Rundown Tags) — Tag the card to group it with related cards. Your daily cards auto-tag to
dailyalready. - Point 5 (Share) — Share the card as an image if you want to.
You can come back to these any time. For now, filling in a title and a task is enough.
Step 3: Collect the card
When you're done for the day, collect the card. Collecting marks it as complete. Cards that haven't been collected are drafts.
Note: Daily cards can only be edited on the day they were created. Once midnight passes, the card locks automatically.
