Managing Decks

Decks are named collections that group related cards together — think of a Deck as a folder for a project, trip, or theme. Give a Deck a name, add cards to it, and browse or filter by it anytime from the Cards view.

Note

Decks hold cards only. Freeform labels are a separate concept called Star Tags, which apply to both cards and tasks. On a card, Star Tags live on Point 3 (Related) — Decks and Star Tags are different things.

Creating a Deck

Open the Cards view and tap the Deck dropdown in the filter bar. Select New Deck, enter a name (e.g., "Vacation 2025" or "Project Alpha"), and save. The Deck appears in the sidebar immediately. You can also create a deck inline while assigning a card to one.

Note

Decks can't be renamed or deleted right now, so pick a name you'll be happy to keep.

Adding a Card to a Deck

Open any card and go to Point 4 — D (the Decks tab). Tap the Deck you want to assign. A card can belong to any number of Decks — there's no limit.

Daily cards are automatically added to the Daily system Deck when they are created.

Browsing by Deck

In the Cards view, open the Deck dropdown or tap a Deck name in the sidebar. The card list filters instantly to show only cards in that collection. To clear the filter and see everything again, choose All decks from the dropdown, or use Clear All Filters.

System Decks

Two Decks are created automatically and cannot be deleted:

Deck What it contains
Daily Every daily card you have ever created
StarStats All stat cards

These behave like any other Deck for filtering purposes — you can browse them the same way.

Removing a Card from a Deck

Open the card, go to Point 4, and deselect the Deck. The card stays in your Archive; it is just no longer assigned to that collection.
