Media Card
The media card is your personal library. Use it to track what you're reading, watching, or listening to — and record your reaction while it's still fresh. Over time it becomes a searchable archive of everything you've consumed and what you thought about it.
How to Create
Press n to open the New Card menu, or the number key matching Media's position in your enabled card types (typically 5).
- Tap New Card from anywhere in the app.
- Choose Media from the card type list.
- Fill in the title and any details — then save.
The Media Point
The Related point (Point 3) on a media card holds the structured details specific to what you're tracking:
- Kind — Book, Film, Album, or Podcast.
- Status — Want to, In Progress, or Done.
- Creator — Author, director, artist, or host.
- URL — A link to the item (Goodreads, Letterboxd, Spotify, wherever).
- Review — A rich-text field for your own notes, rating, or reaction.

The review field supports full rich text — write a quick one-liner or a proper review. Either works.
Tips
- Want to list. Set status to "Want to" and your unread/unwatched pile lives in one place. Filter by Kind to see just your book queue.
- Log as you go. Create the card when you start something and update the review field as you finish. In Progress cards are a good reading list.
- Assign to a deck. Add media cards to a deck like "2026 Books" or "Watched This Year" to build themed collections. See Decks for how deck assignment works (Point 4 on the card).
- Link back to source. Paste the URL so you can jump straight to the item — useful for podcasts and articles you want to revisit.
